Disclaimer
Please note that this privacy policy only regards directly to our company web site, including our web-based products and product information. It does not apply to hosted web sites not maintained by Betadome Digital Media. These hosted web sites must provide their own privacy policy for their visitor and customer security. Hosted web sites may copy and/or reference to this privacy policy only if they provide a short statement that they agree to and abide by the same privacy policy.Tracking information
On your visit throughout the site, the web server only collects anonymous statistics data about your visit. You are not identified until you choose to do so, either by registering and logging in to the forum, or by logging in to our admin panel for customers. If and when you pass the Turing test at any location of our website, a cookie will be set in your browser only to signify that you have passed this test, and that you won't have to take the test again. This cookie contains non-identifiable information; close examination of the cookie will disclose a number - this is only our unique organization number, found in the European Business Register and Brønnøysundsregistrene (the Norwegian register authority). Our organization number only identifies ourselves as a registered business, and does not identify you on your visit to our website. If you change to a different translation of our website, you may have to take the Turing test again (once per language). The Turing test identifier cookie is set to expire a long time in the future (maximum expiry time). The Turing test is to help us stop unwanted harvesting software (a common tool for spammers and confidence schemers) from gaining access to our contact information. More information about what the Turing test is about can be found here.
Your contact information
At a certain point, we might ask you for contact information details. The contact information you provide will only be used for contacting you regarding your account and the services you use from us. We will not sell or share your contact information to anyone at any price. Neither will we inform you of related services without your request for the information. We will, however, inform you of changes that may affect your account. If you prefer these kind of details via regular mail instead, or not at all, please do contact us with the necessary information. The e-mail address you use to register for an account in the forum is used only to confirm a unique identity (that you are indeed a person, and that the e-mail address is yours), as well as e-mailing you updates regarding the forum (optional subscription, not subscribed by default). The use of a valid e-mail address is required to avoid bots and similar software from registering, as we wish to keep all parts of our forum free from spam and other advertisements not under our control. As a standard forum security setting, all e-mail addresses are hidden from the public and other members. This cannot be changed by the individual user. Other forum members may contact you via the forum system, and you may choose whether you'd like to be notified of new messages to you in the forum.
